Dogs in my parents' home were expected to have manners and basic obedience. When I got my first dog at 12 years old I was responsible for training her. I had learned watching my mom work the family dogs. My mom sent me to classes with 2 other trainers to learn different ways of training.
When I turned 16 I wanted to earn money to be able to do things, so I started knocking on neighborhood doors asking people if their dogs needed work. I earned money to see lots of movies and go to concerts.

When I got my first German Shepherd, I started trialing in AKC obedience and Schutzhund.
I trained for a store for 5 years. During those years I gained experience with a wide range of breeds and temperaments.
I was the kennel manager and trainer for a year and a half at a company that imported green K9s from around the world and sold them to police, military and private security companies.
I have trained and titled dogs in AKC Obedience and Rally, UKC Obedience and Rally and Schutzhund (now IGP). I have trained multiple students and their dogs who have titled in AKC Obedience and Rally, UKC Obedience and Rally and Schutzhund.
